Job Description:

This position is located at Department of Housing and Urban Development, Asst Secretary for Housing-Federal Housing Commissioner.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct studies and program evaluations recommending major program policies, operations and technical procedures, standards and criteria for programs administered by the Office.
-Secure key information and develop or suggest major procedures or substantive means for implementing or modifying programs.
-Develop recommendations for needed policy amendments, shifts in program emphasis, funding or resource allocations, and/or budgets.

Job Requirements:

The official duty station for this position will be in Washington, District of Columbia. Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.

Specialized experience for the GS-15 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-14 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes:

-Interpreting and applying legislative statutes, regulations, contracts, and administrative guidance related to affordable multifamily housing programs and in turn developing proposals to support affordable housing projects (e.g., policy proposals, real estate development plans
