Job Description:

The Senior digital marketing manager will lead and deliver the channel strategies for paid and organic search as well as leading the digital marketing plan for Insurances across the digital marketing mix. You will work hand-in-hand with the, commercial, digital and data teams to ensure channel strategies and activation help deliver key customer metrics.  Our focus is to place Sainsbury’s & Argos retail shoppers at the heart of everything that we do and become the bank for loyal shoppers. Using our Nectar data advantage, you will develop new, innovative and effective channel strategies to target high value customers as well as encouraging lifetime value to the Bank.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and champion the delivery of the Insurances digital marketing plan across the entire digital marketing mix – PPC, SEO, Affiliates, aggregators, social and display
  • To intelligently leverage 1st party data opportunities – Sainsbury’s and Nectar data for prospecting and retargeting
  • Work closely with industry partners and agencies to enhance shared learnings, innovation and opportunities for the Bank and its customers
  • Develop and implement a content strategy to ensure best in platform creative is regularly refreshed and optimised
  • Work with relevant members of the marketing team to develop digital campaigns enhancing acquisition and retention goals
  • To keep abreast of the latest developments in digital marketing
  • Liaise and network with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
  • To generate pipeline sales growth against CPA/NPV targets
  • Monitor and report on a range of platform/ channel analytics and KPI’s

Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Digital Marketing
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO, PPC, affiliate, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Line management experience
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics)
  • Good knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Degree in Marketing, or related discipline
  • Qualified member of the CIM or equivalent
  • Strong senior stakeholder management
  • Agency management experience (you will work with a number of our digital media agencies)
  • Experience in test and learn
