The VISTA member will provide for the design and implementation of a municipal identification program, a cutting-edge program that cities across the country are exploring. This program will be instrumental in removing barriers members of our community currently experience who do not have easy, equitable access to identification (i.e. immigrant populations, residents returning from incarceration, or our unhoused population). Trainings are a core component of the work of this office, which the VISTA member will have access to, in addition to the network-building possibilities those activities provide.
