Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Safety Manager to join our team to assist in the day to day running of the Safety Management System. Reporting to our Group Head of Safety and based at Doncaster airport, this role may require travel to our other site at Sywell Aerodrome.

Job Responsibilities:

• The thorough investigation of occurrences
• Assessment of risk
• Management of the Safety Representatives Team
• Development of the company ERC, and FDM programmes
• Promotion of the Safety Management System
• Supporting the day to day effectiveness of the team and undertaking additional tasks as required

Job Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have had experience in Flight Data Monitoring and be familiar with SMS Management tools. A recognised qualification in Health & Safety or Investigator Training would be beneficial.
• Due to the requirement to travel, candidates should also have a full UK driving license.
• SC clearance may be required for this role and candidates should be aware of this prior to applying.
