Bank of England Summer Internship – Stress Testing Team Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced developer to join our team of technicians that are responsible for the owning the development and support of the suite of analytical systems that the team develop.

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilize your technical skills and expertise to play a key role in the team’s activities that include all phases of the software development lifecycle. You will work on multiple work-streams and be able to act independently, making decisions, applying analytical judgment and being an active member of the team.
• We adopt a DevOps mind-set, and are responsible for the operation of the applications we deliver. Influence the testing and implementation of these components and provide post implementation support. Contribute to technical discussions, influence ways of working, share knowledge and provide technical mentorship to other team members.

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience of tools supporting the development and version control process, for example GIT, Jira, Azure DevOps (formerly TFS)
