Job Description:

The solution architect needs to be masterful at understanding business needs and translating those into technology solutions as part of a highly talented team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Shape and agree the solution architecture, ensuring alignment with Architecture Roadmaps, strategies, principles and standards.
• Produce the required solution architecture artefacts – Architecture Design, Architecture Review Board inputs, Security Review inputs etc.
• Present the solution architecture at the Architecture Review Board for approval.
• Guide the solution design ensuring alignment with the approved Solution Architecture as well as with all relevant/applicable Bank standards.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure that the solution identified is fully understood and supported by all stakeholders, aligned to the business need, is fit for purpose and provides value for investment made.

Job Requirements:

• Solid technical architecture background with understanding and hands-on experience in solution architecture.
• Proven compelling written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to make technical conversations relevant to business and vice versa.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment and across a range of SDLCs with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
• Demonstrated understanding of risk identification and management.
