Bank of Ireland Jobs – IT Infrastructure Operation Specialist

Job Description:

To act as the Information Security technical subject matter expert for Technology Services, liasing with other Bank stakeholders to enhance the Bank’s security posture by the effective operational implementation of IT Security initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide appropriate technical analysis of, and action plans for Threat Intelligence provided by Group Information Security (GIS)
• Participate in security related governance forums with other areas within the Bank and with its Service Partners
• Plan and monitor BAU changes to remediate vulnerabilities / violations with the Bank’s service provision partner(s)
• Provide technical support, guidance and expertise to support the delivery of the services provided by TS’s Security Services team
• Provide challenge / review and input and TS sign off to security technical specifications, standards, policies and processes.
• Act as interface between Technology Services and Group Information Security
• Contribute to security-based risk assessments on behalf of TS

Job Requirements:

• Ability to act as an Information Security Influencer
• Ability to effectively prioritise workload in a dynamic environment
• Exposure to Ireland’s Financial Services regulatory environment
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills

Qualification & Experience:

• Expert knowledge of/qualifications relating to Information Security of Wintel and Unix Operating Systems
