Job Description:
The role requires the colleague to support Regulatory Capital Reporting process and associated Data Governance. The position involves co-ordinating the creation of regulatory reports, preparation of robust MI and supporting our divisions through intelligent insight and establishing and maintaining effective relationships across GFS and beyond. The role will also include an element of line management of junior colleagues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Consolidation and delivery of robust data quality reporting
- Establish and build strong relationships with stakeholders including presenting at senior stakeholder meetings up to Director level
- Support delivery of robust risk weighted reporting MI for internal / external stakeholders within agreed timelines
- Creation and presentation of robust capital MI with added insight
- Line Management and colleague development
- Maintain and role-model a robust control environment
- Strong evidence of continuous improvement and efficiencies, pro-actively identifying improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures. Engage with stakeholder teams to understand the wider impact of process changes and ensure a collaborative outcome.
- Understand issues as they arise, communicating and facilitating resolution
Job Requirements:
- You also have a practical understanding of financial systems and processes with the ability to use and manipulate data and present information to inform business decisions
- You have a professional finance qualification (or qualified by experience)
- You have good interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate closely with colleagues across teams, departments and levels
- You have the ability to implement change using a confident and collaborative approach
- You can plan, organise and prioritise your own and others workload with the ability to identify and implement flexibility in plans when required
