Job Description:

This is a great opportunity to join our team. You’ll be working in a collaborative fashion driving effort to build, support and improve our reporting, all while working closely with wider reporting teams such as Data Services which will provide exciting new challenges.

You’d be a key contributor to the ingestion, maintenance, improvement, cleaning and manipulation of data in operational and analytical dashboards to help business leaders run their teams efficiently. You’d need an understanding of designing dashboard solutions, preferably with hands-on experience of building data products within tight turnaround times.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides a range of outputs including modelling of data, accurate forecasting and giving advice to drive the development of new change, initiatives or products
• Interprets complex data and effective production of high-quality information, analysis and research
• Strong technical and financial skills, detail-orientated but able to analyse and distil insight from data
• Excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy of change
• Inquisitive in nature, always looking for the right answer.
• Makes sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems whilst considering future challenges and alternative solutions.
• Deep and broad understanding of reporting solutions including PowerBI and Tableau
• Professional maturity, personal integrity and strong work ethics

Job Requirements:

• You appreciate and acknowledge the impact of certain performance metrics and can anticipate stakeholders needs and requirements.
• You’ll need to show a real passion for developing new solutions and translating data into analytics based dashboards whilst maintaining strong governance and control.
• A track record of the required data and reporting experience, as well as a “can-do” approach, capability of fulfilling a catalogue of requirements, and ability to effectively work with multi-disciplinary teams across the Commercial Bank.
• You’ll have a strong knowledge of dashboard design and key performance metrics.
• Analysis experience using a relational database (e.g. Oracle, Teradata etc.) along with an appropriate scripting or programming skill for data extraction such as SQL, SAS, R etc
• Knowledge of Commercial Banking and how it is structured
