Job Description:

As a Barclays Senior User Experience (UX) Designer you will be responsible for delivering world class design outputs across a range of varied projects within Barclays Corporate Banking. You will be running and managing the experience design efforts for key strategic projects for our Corporate business whilst providing support to a wider team of designers, producing visually pleasing, useful and innovative products for our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Delivering consistent, excellent, customer-focused design solutions
• Adhering to human centered design practices
• Keeping abreast of best practices in design led thinking and applying those as a leader both internally and externally
• You’ll act as a champion of trialing new and relevant design methodologies and practices and promoting this across the business
• Creating and reviewing design specifications for developers (across app and web platforms)
• You will lead projects, taking responsibility for communication and planning design activities
• Proactively collaborating with colleagues across the business and joining the dots where needed
• Managing stakeholder’s expectations and priorities

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience of working with UX and/or service design principles and brand guidelines
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical digital concepts, and present them as simple design solutions
