Department of Reclamation Jobs – Supervisory Natural Resources Specialist

Job Description:

Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on his or her expertise as a Supervisory Natural Resources Specialist. Make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinates Land Management Branch activities for Reclamation lands managed directly by WYAO, including such matters as recreation, use authorizations, trespass, disposal of lands no longer needed, weed control, administration of agreements with managing partners who manage Reclamation lands for such activities as grazing, irrigated agriculture, wildlife habitat, public recreation, etc.

-Serves as WYAO representative with Federal, State, and local government entities and the public regarding WYAO land management activities, and regularly communicates the status of land management activities to WYAO management.

-Evaluates and coordinates use of project resources to include: staff and staff capabilities, equipment, use of time and overtime, budget, utilization of outside resources to achieve efficient and productive accomplishment of project priorities.

Job Requirements:

You must be a U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National.

You must be suitable for federal employment, determined by a background investigation.
