Job Description:
Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Budget Analyst. You can make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Serves as a Budget Analyst for the Willows Construction Office (WCO), performing routine or continuing analytical, technical, and administrative duties related to formulating, executing, and monitoring the budgets for WCO’s large, complex construction projects.
-Develops, reviews, and edits detailed analyses, estimates, proposals, and justifications for specifically assigned object classes, programs, construction projects, and/or support activities.
-Conducts research to locate and obtain information from existing financial databases.
-Provides budgetary guidance to local managers, supervisors, and employees regarding established budget/financial management practices, procedures, and policies.
-Monitors and tracks readily identifiable sources of funding, such as allotments and reimbursements.
-Analyzes and evaluates labor costs, tracking lapses due to vacancies, absences, and other labor cost discrepancies.
-Reconciles and adjusts accounts as required to ensure accuracy of programming.
-Prepares a variety of recurring financial reports.
-Participates in efforts regarding long and short-range financial planning for specifically assigned organizations, object classes, programs, and/or support activities.
-Serves as a system/process administrator for various automated financial or budget systems and processes.
Job Requirements:
