Job Description:

This position is a Repayment Specialist, GS-1101-07/09/11 located in Nebraska-Kansas Area Office, in the Programs Management Division.

This position is concurrently open to Merit Promotion eligibles under Announcement Number BOR-21-11128035-MP-OPM.

Job Responsibilities:

• Track expenditures and billing requirements to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of contracts.
• Develop basis for negotiating various contracts.
• Responsible for the preparation and review of annual and periodic information for reimbursement by contractors.
• Ensure the proper interpretation of the existing water service and repayment contracts for use in administration and enforcement of contracts to assure compliance with the provision of the contract.

Job Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• May be required to complete background investigation and drug screening.
• Meet Selective Service Registration Act requirement for males.
• Must provide resume and supporting documents (See required documents).
• Selectee will be required to participate in the Direct Deposit Electronics Funds Transfer Program.
• If you are a new employee or supervisor in the Federal government, you will be required to complete a one-year probationary period.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• You may be required to travel overnight away from home up to 3 nights per month. You must obtain a government charge card for travel purposes.
