Job Description:
The Mass Cobrand Portfolio Manager is responsible for the development of product marketing plans, strategies, and tactics to optimize the performance of the portfolio in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to optimize portfolio performance through initiatives to drive cardmember engagement, increase the share of wallet, minimize attrition, and obtain/maintain a competitive position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver on short and long-term existing customer engagement strategy by driving and optimizing channel strategies and communication engagement
- Oversee all aspects of program life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field
- Execute customer value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to ensure accurate delivery of product features and value to clients
- Contribute to the achievement of portfolio financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps in business plans
- Coordinate and implement client problem resolutions and client management
- Work closely with Legal and Compliance partners to ensure all program activities adhere to regulatory and policy standards, including records retention
- Drive process improvements in portfolio management relative to program implementation to gain efficiencies and optimize performance
- Focus on technology requests and projects, working with key stakeholders across the organization and the partner to develop and implement key portfolio initiatives
- Oversee day-to-day portfolio management including existing customer experience and communication strategies, coordinating efforts of the cross-functional team to achieve results
Job Requirements:
- Functional experience in marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, or analytics
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirement
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication, including strong presentation development skills
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Master’s degree preferred
