Job Description:

As a Social Science Research Analyst, you will serve as a technical analyst on the development, implementation, and evaluation of CMS’s digital quality measurement strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret statutes to produce federal regulations, policy statements, and other program guidance.
• The Social Science Research Analyst functions as a technical expert in the Division of Quality Measurement.
• Perform education and outreach activities for health care providers, beneficiaries, employers/unions, the general public and other stakeholders regarding Medicare and Medicaid issues.
• Review and comment on the technical adequacy and relevancy of the deliverables, prepares necessary documents to modify grants and contracts, and provides relevant results with independent assessments to appropriate officials.
• Identify contractor issues and problems and develops options that attempt to resolve the problems.

Job Requirements:

Serving as a digital quality measures expert with experience in management of electronic health records (EHRs) systems, including implementation, clinical quality data extraction/exchange, quality measures/clinical decision support, specialty content build.Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
