Job Description:; 

£41,440 – £51,800 plus benefits (Grade D17)
7-month fixed-term contract
Remote / home working, with occasional visits to Manchester city centre

We’re looking for a financial planning manager to join our finance team to support in the delivery of financial planning, analysis and reporting for our central function. You’ll be working closely with finance teams across the business to help ensure that all strategies, initiatives, risks and opportunities are accurately reflected in our future plans. As a financial planning manager, you’ll play a key part in the team that’s responsible for analysing performance and trends, providing insights from that data and forecasting, budgeting and planning for the future. We’ll look to you to help coordinate the delivery across the team and play a key role in binding our planning and reporting activities together in line with our finance strategy. Job Responsibilities:

an accountancy qualification (i.e. CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
* experience working as a finance manager in a similar role, with a focus on planning, analysis and reporting
* proven experience managing budgets and forecasting, as well as performance reporting
* strong communication skills with the ability to present to financial and non-financial audiences, challenging and influencing at to senior level
* good knowledge of finance systems and processes, including general ledger and /or BI tools
* the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a culture of continuous change
* a track record of owning key projects and working as a te
