Job Description:
Under the direction of the Region Administrator, the incumbent provides technical DS program support for the region; performs quality reviews for Driver Safety Hearing Officer (DSHO) and Senior Motor Vehicle Technician (SMVT) staff; performs workload audits; evaluates and performs trend analysis; makes recommendations to improve service and enhance efficiencies; develops, implements, and maintains a training curriculum and mentorship program for DSHO and SMVT staff in coordination with the Driver Safety Training and Procedures Unit; tracks and coordinates out-service training; prepares training reports for the Region Administrator’s review; conducts, tracks, and monitors outreach to law enforcement agencies, the community, and other public entities regarding current APS laws and statutes; reviews, discusses, and resolves and responds to the issues and complaints from the public; composes memos, correspondence, reports and other complex documents or provide supervisory relief and technical support to Driver Safety Hearing Officers; schedules and organizes workflow; makes work assignments and recommends workload leveling; maintains current knowledge of all procedures; and prepares and forwards required reports.
Job Requirements:
