Job Description:
Due to continuous growth, we are now seeking a full time Fleet Support Manager to join us, based at our Doncaster site. This is an exciting opportunity to join us as we build on our success story and embark on new projects. The role will have responsibility for a team of Fleet Support Engineers, within the CAMO/Fleet Management department, allocating work amongst the team, managing priorities, staff training, competence and development. Leading an established team, you will likely already be working in a continuing airworthiness role, with strong knowledge and experience of Part M/Part CAMO requirements, maintenance and reliability programmes, maintenance planning, assessment of incoming airworthiness data and the management of modifications and repairs. The Fleet Support Manager will be required to actively participate in the above tasks and projects to fully support the team with the department’s requirements. This position is deputy to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) supporting them with airworthiness and fleet management and holding the responsibility during periods of absence.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with the aircraft types operated by the Company including Boeing 727/737/757, Beechcraft 200 (King Air) and Piper PA31 (Navajo) or similar piston types is desirable but not essential.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels of the business and external contacts as required.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Confidence using Airworthiness/MRO software.
- Good understanding of Part 145 and Part 21 regulations.
- A positive and flexible approach with the ability to solve, sometimes complex, problems using their own initiative.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire their team to be high performers.
