Frito Lay Jobs – Hostler (CDL)

Job Description:

The Hostler position involves working closely with the warehouse and transportation functions to manage and move trailer assets between buildings to support efficient operation. This position requires applicant to be Department Of Transportation qualified with a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operates diesel-powered tractor moving trailers into and out of dock doors and between multiple yards in fast paced environment
• Must have excellent time managment – Maintains radio or telephone contact across campus to receive required trailer moves and report maintenance problems
• Performs trailer safety checks, Yard inventories, opens trailer doors as required
• Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner in an effort to minimize the risk of injury and equipment damage
• Other job duties as assigned
