Job Description:
The role holder is required to provide operations MI and analytics support to Collections Ops across GSCs (Cairo, Manila & Hyderabad). The role holder would be responsible for supporting development of best in class MI infrastructure and for providing analytical consultancy to collections operations. The role holder would also be responsible for daily execution of standard MI packs and support adhoc analytical requirements from operations. The role holder should be able to analyze the data according to business requirement and come up with recommendations, handle escalations, resolve queries.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of analytical tools, statistical tests, simulation studies etc. required to optimize production
- Provide analytics consultancy to VP Ops to effectively manage their business
- Collaborate with others across the team to achieve the overall goal
- Take an active role in initiatives outside of own role; proactively seeking different assignments to accelerate learning
- Design, develop and execute MI reports required to manage operations efficiently.
- Evidence of analytics insights in all form of reporting. Feedback from business.
- Influence and escalate key issues in an effective way to ensure timely resolution
- Feedback from Ops
- Analyze performance trends and share findings/recommendations with management for decision making.
- Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of reports and analytical tasks/projects involving various initiatives around Collections (Telephony/Back-office) and Recoveries.
- Develop and execute as per agreed timelines
- Continuously strive to improve and sustain high quality
- Drive innovation for self and help junior team members and analysts in driving innovative ideas
- Interact with counter parts and build excellent working relationship with all stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Proven ability to work effectively with virtual cross functional teams (without line reporting);
- Experienced and proficient in MS – Office including Excel, VBA, Power-point, MS Access
- Knowledge of, and experience in, planning, organization, and problem solving techniques
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research or any other relevant technical numerical discipline preferable
- At least 5 years’ experience in Operations with at-least 3 years of experience in MI and reporting (preferably in Back
- Excellent data analysis, logical deduction, and critical thinking skills
- Self motivated and can work independently and with minimal supervision
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills – Both verbal and written
- Office or Contact Center)
- Multi tasking ability and ability to drive initiatives
- Project Management / Business Process improvement skills
- Basic knowledge of statistical and financial modeling techniques, marketing research and multivariate analysis tools
- Possesses excellent thought organization and thought leadership
