Job Description:

The Senior Architect role will work within the Contact Centre platform team to achieve the strategic aims of ITID and the CCaaS platform by providing architectural expertise. The role will take direction from the Lead Architect and whilst  it will have no formal line management duties, it will be expected that the role will provide guidance to the more junior members of the team and to pod leaders. The jobholder will help translate business needs into technology fulfilment. He / She will be required to work with OEMs/Vendors to evaluate, conduct POCs, focus on security needs as per HSBC policies and then introduce product in Bank’s environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Lead Architect identify and deliver key solutions and strategy
• Support and lead key initiatives such as containerisation, cloud, API,
• Active engagement within the broader architecture community
• Continually improving the design approach including operational resilience and security
