Job Requirements:

Specialized experience is experience that is related to the work of this position and has provided you with the competencies required for successful job performance and is the following: is experience that demonstrated accomplishment of security policy assignments that required a comprehensive knowledge of physical security concepts, policies, standards, and procedures in order to complete physical security projects. This knowledge is generally demonstrated by assignments where you review draft national security policies and standards and distribute and implement security policy standards and procedures; oversee and provide expertise regarding comprehensive physical security programs and systems, (includes identification media, intrusion detection and alarm systems, locks, keys, etc.); providing expert technical assistance to lower graded Specialists and to managers and employees to ensure security measures are met and to resolve security issues; prepare written reports of findings from risk assessments, compliance security reviews and site surveys, and review reports from lower graded Specialists; and provide authoritative advice and guidance on budgetary requirements for security equipment and systems. – One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis.
