Job Description:

The Sales Manager for the Western region is responsible for increasing market share and revenues, developing, pursuing, and closing new sales opportunities while expanding sales from existing customers related to the entire portfolio of products and services of Jet Aviation. As a representative of the global sales function, the job incumbent will be collaborating closely with Regional Operations and other global functions to ensure that the cohesive Jet Aviation growth strategy is being executed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of current customer data base and develops relationships
  • Researches, brainstorms and analyses customer data, on company used business software platforms
  • Drives and creates demand for the organization’s product offerings and services
  • High emphasis on FBO sales experience
  • May participate in regular sales and strategy meetings with the customer’s senior management to understand their needs related to the organization’s services and pricing strategies
  • Achieves revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per fix base of operations
  • Identifies, cold calls, develops proposals, and typically closes new sales opportunities
  • Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships with strategic accounts in Western US Region to include Scottsdale, Van Nuys, and Bozeman. Must be based in Scottsdale or Van Nuys.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and experience communicating to diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of aviation selling experience at a high-end fixed base of operations
  • Moderate travel is expected in this position
  • Must be available to work non-standard hours/flexible days
  • The candidate must have basic knowledge of aviation technologies and tracking programs, such as Passur, Tracpak and Jetnet
  • Extraordinary customer service focus
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills
  • Basic English language skills
  • Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)
  • Solid influencing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University
  • Strong internal/external corporate aviation awareness
  • Sales experience selling products to high-net-worth individuals
