Job Description:
The position is required to serve customer needs and the requirements of their aircraft in accordance with Jet Aviation policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answers radio calls from aircrafts and disseminates information (arrival time/departure time, required services, etc.) to the appropriate departments
- Communicates regularly, as necessary, with all departments and aircrafts regarding the coordination of the aircraft’s services
- Maintains accurate records of all aircraft arrival and departure information
- Establishes and maintains solid professional relationships with all aircraft Pilots
- Generate daily and monthly reports for management and other team members
- Other duties may be assigned, as needed
- Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network
- Tracks aircraft arrivals and departures using Passur Software
- Communicates with Customs and Border Patrol regarding international arrivals and departures
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Must be able to pass an FAA required 7-year background check, as well as have a clean driving record
- Must obtain a Teterboro Airport ID Badge within 30 days of employment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability effectively, proficiently and clearly speak and understand English. Having knowledge of Spanish or another second language is desirable but not required.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college, or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
