Job Description:

The Customer Service Agent provides assistance to passengers and crew throughout the different stages of travel through our Jet Aviation FBO’s. Job duties include ramp communications and primarily works in Operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists flight crews and customers with arrangements for hotels, ground transportation, catering, customs and other miscellaneous vendor service requirements
  • Attends to handling requests, carry out pre- and post flight administrative tasks including proper recording of all services in FBO1
  • Maintains accurate records of all aircraft arrival and departure information Customer Service
  • Provides the best possible levels of service to our customers in a welcoming, friendly and respectful manner – makes the customer feel at home
  • Participates in the Safety & Quality Management System in accordance to the safety and quality policy and is pro-actively involved in a positive safety culture environment
  • Identifies and reports potential hazards and near misses as well as occurrences as required by the reporting system
  • Resolves customer inquiries and complaints fairly and effectively
  • Increases customer satisfaction by understanding their needs and by responding to them promptly and efficiently
  • Answers radio calls from aircrafts and disseminates information (arrival time/departure time, required services, etc.) to the appropriate departments
  • Communicates regularly, as necessary, with all departments and aircrafts regarding the coordination of the aircraft’s services
  • Provides product and service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships
  • Recommends and implements programs to support customer needs
  • Tracks aircraft arrivals and departures using Passur Software
  • Communicates with Customs and any other agencies regarding international flights and departures

Job Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • English language skills (e.g., B2 proficiency level or equivalent)
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Possesses cultural awareness and required sensitivity
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions as well as meeting minimum physical requirements of the job
  • Work experience in the aviation industry or a related field (e.g. hospitality) would be an advantage
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and AA or equivalent two year college or technical
  • school; or six months to one year related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)
  • Good communication skills
  • Common courtesy and customer orientation
