Job Description:

As part of the Creative Buying team, you’ll be working directly with the Shop and Space Planning, Spa and Hair Lab teams to research, source and develop the best quality materials, goods and equipment to be used in every element of our fit-outs. You will offer creative solutions to the R&D, Property and Design teams, presenting new and innovative solutions and available options that embody our ethics and vision, whilst meeting financial targets and technical requirements. Drawing on your experience as a Materials, Construction or Shopfit Buyer and experience with sustainability and innovative materials you will draw on your network to grow our supplier base, building strong internal and external relationships to deliver the best solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to close the loop on materials we use (creating circular economies)
• Negotiate prices and lead times, clearly capturing and sharing information with relevant teams
• Manage strong communication and links to Lush SPA, Hair Lab and the Shop and Space Planning Team
• Develop and refine the ordering processes, working closely with the Procurement team
• Work closely with the R&D team, delivering innovative yet functional and practical solutions that meet their creative vision
• Optimise the distribution of materials and goods from suppliers direct to stores and global sites, as required, minimising the need to hold stock centrally
• Support new projects from inception to delivery by sourcing required solutions and support new launches and rollouts for Lush SPA, Hair Lab and the Shop and Space Planning team
• Standardise and update the tendering process
• Develop a steady stream of new alternatives to existing construction materials, constantly improving our environmental impact whilst managing costs
