TJX Companies Inc. (TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, HomeSense, and Sierra) is the largest global off-price retailer, and we are hiring Distribution Center leaders nationwide throughout our network. In addition to offering competitive wages and benefits, our Operations Supervisors have an opportunity to join any of the dozens of +1M sqft DCs/FCs across our network and receive company-paid relocation assistance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Encourage and cultivate a work environment where a diverse group of backgrounds are respected and valued.
- Proactively anticipate workforce and resource-needs to ensure workload demands are completed.
- Review and analyze critical metrics (Key Performance Indicators) in a timely manner to ensure significant data is reported both internally and externally in partnership with Human Resources.
- Ensure operational excellence and efficiency levels are set, maintained, and continuously improved for all Associates.
- Apply your leadership skills by training and managing a team of 15-30 Associates in a dynamic distribution environment.
Job Requirements:
- Excellence in key areas of management such as relationship management, quality management, risk management, and staff direction.
- Proven willingness to train and mentor employees.
- 3-5 years of Supervisor/Manager experience is required, but not necessarily in a DC or Fulfillment Center. If you are an effective leader- we want to talk with you!
- High School diploma or equivalent is required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is a plus
- Must be willing to relocate.
- Willing to exhibit dedication towards helping peers succeed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
- Must be shift-flexible. (Our buildings operate 24/7)
