Job Description:

The Program/Project Integration Office at NASA Glenn Research Center seeks a Project Planning and Control Engineer to analyze/monitor project costs, schedules and risks. The duties include the development and utilization of performance assessment products, conduct integration functions; advise managers on significant metrics to aid in decision making, and coordinate efforts/guide significant interactions with other organizations supporting Agency projects. *updated to correct GS-12 salary*

Job Requirements:

In addition to the basic education requirement (shown below), you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above. To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level applying general engineering methods sufficient to project control analysis and information such as: reports/briefings or collecting interpreting, and evaluating quantitative and qualitative data on program and project management function; analyzing schedule paths and resource loaded schedules; assisting with the system data analysis functions supporting the Project Planning and Control (PP&C) role. To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level conducting professional engineering work in support of scientific and engineering programs and projects sufficient to developing and presenting project control analysis and information such as reports/briefings or collecting, interpreting, and evaluating quantitative and qualitative data on program and project management functions; experience reviewing, analyzing and scheduling critical paths and resource loaded schedules; serving as the subject matter expert and performing system data analysis functions supporting the Project Planning and Control (PP&C) role.
