We’re currently looking for a Business System Analyst to join our team in Farmington Hills .
This role will be responsible for analyzing internal and external quality data and creating reports that help users quickly and effectively understand the information. Developing and maintaining analytic tools to support priority setting of Quality Engineering and R&D activities. Providing general support within the group for ad-hoc data analysis, maintaining the SharePoint (Alliance Connect) site, and organizing meetings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Update reports to maintain alignment of quality objectives. (e.g. fiscal year target changes).
- Effectively communicate issues identified from quality data analysis to audiences of varying technical skill and management levels to support informed decision-making.
- Identify and propose improvements to existing reports and tools.
- Publish monthly quality reports. Assist and provide guidance to report users with functionality, logic and how to apply within R&D departments.
- Support implementation and deployment of digital dashboards of Key Process Indicators for R&D functional and regional quality goals.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated Microsoft Excel and Access Knowledge; Ability to identify, extract and compile information from different data sources using appropriate MS Excel of MS
- Access functions and tools such as IF, INDEX, MATCH, V/H-LOOKUP, pivot tables and queries.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or other applicable fields.
- Good analytical skills & exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with SQL and VB is plus
- Strong abilities in Cross functional & Cross Cultural communication
- Experience related to data analysis, KPI setting/monitoring, and project management
- 3 to 5 years experience in purchasing, finance, engineering or other applicable fields
- Knowledge of Nissan quality standards or automotive quality standards is preferred.
