Job Description:
To give technical lead within NH1 Customer Oriented Engineering Test Technician group to deliver test results in a timely and safe manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Test data analysis, identify concern area and propose countermeasures.
- Assist with facility management inclusive of maintenance, facility calibration, risk assessment and training.
- Write reports.
- Support NLH RF1 to maintain Health & Safety, improve efficiency, and capture knowledge
- Raise / issue test reports and liaise with test / design engineers to close concern items.
- Work independently to support COE investigations & activities at remote locations such as Production Plants.
- Produce technical operating procedures relating to NEM tests / facility operation.
- Provide technical leadership for technical area
- Demonstrate flexibility during workload peaks and troughs by supporting an additional test area, primarily Electrical Test.
- Conduct tests to N.E.M. standards
- Training and development of Development staff
Job Requirements:
- Must be capable of learning necessary skills and methods to operate equipment, associated with relevant testing area.
- Excel (Database management & producing graphs)
- Level 3 qualification or above preferable but not essential
- Experience of vehicle assembly/testing techniques and procedures in relevant area of responsibility.
- Ability to provide a technical lead for the development of staff within the section.
- Flexible to support periods of off-site working.
- Good inter-personal skills for co-ordinating activities with internal / external customers / suppliers Quality conscious with keen attention to detail
- Word (Report writing)
- Recognised Apprenticeship (Electrical or Mechanical)
- Understanding of Nissan development process.
