Job Description: Pictet Alternative Advisors is a leading alternative investment specialist with expertise in hedge funds, private equity and global real estate. The Geneva- and London-based team constructs, manages and advises on portfolios of alternative investment solutions for institutional and private clients. You will be joining a dynamic and growing investment team, organised by geographies and themes, and will support the global efforts to identify, analyse and recommend investments in funds, co-investments and secondary transactions in Europe. Job Responsibilities: Developing new relationships with investment funds active in Europe and brokers through your personal and professional network of contacts and business partners. Identifying and analysing secondary and co-investment opportunities. Defending your recommendations in front of the investment committee. Monitoring investments. Job Requirements: Proven active network among European private equity funds and at least five years' experience investing in the private equity industry (direct or indirect investments). Perfect command of English required. An ability to hold professional conversations in French and/or other European languages would be highly valued. A natural ability to build a rapport with different sets of individuals and to positively challenge the opinions of others. Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate. Qualification & Experience: University degree in Finance or Economics (or qualification deemed equivalent); a postgraduate-type qualification such as a CAIA or CFA would be an asset.
