You’ll play an important role in the delivery of the Sainsbury’s Bank Argos Financial Services (SBAFS) Change portfolio, through supporting an improved change velocity through providing high quality Delivery PMO services to either a single large project or multiple smaller projects. You will work collaboratively with other Technology Delivery colleagues and project stakeholders aiding the successful delivery of the change portfolio. Job Responsibilities: Contribute to the creation of project governance structure in conjunction with the Project Manager. Collate and compile project reports and communicate challenges to the Project Manager. Support project scope/quality by maintaining and governing the change control process. Provide effective visibility and insight of project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies to the Project Manager, maintain and updating the project RAID Log. Maintain and track project finances, including actual expenditure and future forecast against approved budget, highlighting any risks or opportunities to the Project Manager. Attend and contribute, where appropriate, at project steering group and working group meetings. Maintain and track project resources, including forecasting future resource requirements. Embrace a culture of continuous improvement to identify and develop improvements to project methodology processes. Maintain and track the project plan against a known level of uncertainty via regular updates from Project Managers, constructively challenging on quality of input where appropriate. Job Requirements: Excellent planning skills and able to manage competing priorities, working effectively under pressure. Experience of both Agile methods (SCRUM, SAFe etc.) and waterfall hybrid environments is advantageous. Highly competent across MS PowerPoint, Excel and Project applications. Highly numerate, with strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. Excellent written communication with ability to tailor messaging to different audiences. Experience of financial services is advantageous. The ability to pose questions to colleagues in a collaborative and constructive manner. Experience of working in a project environment.
