Job Description:

The Lean Facilitator leads process improvement projects as Kaizen workshops. They facilitate and guide teams through the improvement process and assist business units to manage the Kaizen projects to completion. Lean Facilitators lead teams to select the most effective process improvement recommendations, present the results to Sr. leaders and monitor Kaizen projects to ensure sustainable results. In addition, Lean Facilitators help business leaders develop metrics and measurement tools to identify opportunities to improve operational and back office processes towards greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct Lean Kaizen workshops to drive business results
• Monitor completed Kaizen results
• Observe and document opportunities for process improvement
• Collect data and analyze for opportunities for process improvement
• Train employees in Lean techniques and tools
• Work with functional VP’s and Directors on applying Lean in their organization
• Additional qualifications include excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge and proficiency with Lean Principles, concepts, and methods
• Proficient with Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, and value analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft tools; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Visio
• Advanced critical analysis, data management and trouble shooting
• Excellent planning, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time/project management and organizational skills
• Ability to lead others in a team-oriented environment and communication skills
• MS Project or other project tracking software
• Lean certification i.e. Lean Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
