Job Description: We are looking for a roll-up-your-sleeves team member comfortable in hands-on analytics and work as well as in various stakeholder discussions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a focus on building strategic relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, the ability to plan, work and meet project deadlines and a strong knowledge of sourcing practices and spend analytics. Job Responsibilities: Perform industry benchmarking with respect to pricing, performance, service levels and other measurable standards Act as primary contact for all strategic purchases, including running RFx processes and negotiating resulting agreements Assist in the implementation of a sourcing and procurement process by establishing procurement policies, guidelines and best practices and driving value and savings on purchases Objectively review suppliers (i) before purchase and (ii) for performance and supplier compliance after purchase Build and maintain strategic relationships with all level of stakeholders across Signature Aviation Drive supplier selection through robust sourcing initiatives such as RFx, reverse auction, consolidation and demand management Work with the Legal team to update contract templates as needed and ensure suppliers are appropriately screened and reviewed on an ongoing basis Align with FP&A department to provide visibility into forecasted spend for budget purposes Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to meet product, cost, quality, capacity and fulfillment ensuring suppliers are able to meet requirements for performance, quality, cost and delivery of components Track the supplier’s performance indicators, based on their scorecards and rankings, to facilitate and develop the supply base’s ability to consistently meet or exceed defined expectations Job Requirements: Ability to quickly calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume in your head Good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word and Power Point) and excellent capabilities in Excel Experience working in a newly built procurement organization Strong understanding of and competency in spend analytics Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year College or University. Degree in procurement / supply chain discipline preferred. MBA a plus.
