Job Description:

This position is located in the Social Security Administration, San Francisco Regional Office, Center for Materiel Resources, Frank Hagel Federal Building at 1221 Nevin Ave, Richmond, CA.

Fixed rotating shifts; no alternate work schedules will be allowed. This is an emergency/mission critical position. Incumbents may be called to work after hours and on weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent serves as the technical expert/advisor to the Frank Hagel Federal Building Manager and the Frank Hagel Building Facilities Team Manager on sound operational policies and procedures for all construction, mechanical and service needs in the maintenance, operation and construction/renovation areas of the facility. The incumbent will participate in the implementation of these procedures and in evaluating the performance of its programs. The incumbent will also be responsible for inspecting janitorial and custodial work; grounds maintenance work; and the building cafeteria to determine if they are performed according to established contract specifications and quantity and quality requirements.

U.S. Citizenship required

Background and/or security investigation required
Job offers are contingent on background / security investigation results
Selectees are required to serve a 1 year probationary period
Relocation expenses will not be paid
