Job Description:

To ensure that Right Technology Discovery Tools are operating effectively, and proactively managed on behalf of upstream and downstream processes. To be successful in this job you will need to draw on skills gained and teams in the following areas IT Infrastructure Management, Asset, and Configuration management Enterprise Architecture, Technology, and Processes Discovery tools, ITIL frameworks

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust, cost effective Discovery Management processes and strive for continuous improvement. Assess and introduce new Software and hardware products that might improve efficiency & effectiveness of the process.
• Extensive experience with installing and maintaining Service Now Discovery within a highly distributed complex environment.
• Develop influential and trustworthy working relationships with other Technology and Business teams to communicate and achieve Infrastructure capacity and performance Objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge on Mid server setup and configuration for Service Now
• Sound knowledge of Enterprise Architectures, Infrastructure Hardware (Mid-Range Servers, Networks, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud, etc)
• Have understanding about BMC ADDM; familiarity with BMC Remedy and the BMC Remedy, BMC Atrium CMDB data model and asset classifications
• Understand best practices and determines optimized procedures for updating CI data including the use of automated processes, discovery tools/integrations with other data sources, and manual input processes as necessary.
• Sound knowledge of the Discovery Exception process management.
• Perform system and application setup/support and maintenance in conjunction with the regular scheduled maintenance
• Scripting knowledge (Unix, Perl, SQL)
• Sound written and verbal communications skills, and ability to communicate, convince all levels of management.
• Ability to manage external (vendor) resources and ability to interact and deliver with various technology domains both regional and global teams.
• Project management & solutions integration experience.
• Need ability to identify any gaps and bring right process, approach towards our project deliverables.
• Should be passionate enough to bring in new ideas and implement the same.
• Implementation of a formal governance model and the creation of key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Experience in building application relationship and service modelling
• Experience in Financial Services Industry Processes, Compliance and audit Requirements.
• Liaising with application and platform owners to ensure data completeness and accuracy
• Setup, configuration, and monitoring of scheduled discovery scans, Application Modelling and maintenance skills
• Have strong understanding about Scanning cloud infrastructure and Modelling Cloud applications

Qualification & Experience:

• 7+ Years Relevant experience in Service Now Discovery
