Job Description:

Be a part of the team that defines Starbucks growth strategy, creating a path to 55,000 stores that deliver meaningful experiences for the customers and communities we serve! This job contributes to Starbucks success by leading key strategic projects in Trade Area Transformation that span the Americas and key global markets. Scope includes (but is not limited to) defining the strategic problem to solve, identifying consumer/partner insights, and developing solutions in close collaboration with cross functional teams across the enterprise. Scales leadership working with and through others. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leads strategic project problem solving efforts by helping the team identify and define key issues, develop hypotheses and design required analyses. Guides the team in thinking through complex and ambiguous issues, identifies creative information sources and approached and pushes the team to develop new insights. Oversees and reviews team analytics to ensure integrity and accuracy.
• Creates structured but dynamic presentations illustrating key business issues, new insights and recommendations
• Communicates team recommendations to senior leaders and can confidently field questions and concerns
• Manages overall project work plans, defining approach, timing and key deliverables
• Engages internal and external partners in order to develop collaborative solutions

Job Requirements:

• Progressive experience in Strategy / internal consulting
• Strong project leadership in a cross-functional environment
• Proficient in Human Centered Design (HCD), advanced skills in financial modeling, building executive-ready presentations
• MBA strongly preferred
• Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
• Interest in market planning and store development
• Strong organization and planning skills
• Strong presentation skills
