SAP ABAP Development Manager

An SAPAdvanced Business Application ProgrammingDevelopment Manager provides expertise in technical support aspects of SAP and its integration platforms. At Whirlpool, these developers are the primary resource used for developing and supporting applications in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This role is supporting the integrated supply chain at Whirlpool, encompassingSales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP) modulesof SAPEnterprise Central Component (ECC).

Job Responsibilities:

Design complex specifications for modular solutions to allow proper reusability after helping to scope out requirements

Lead development of enhancement and project work

Support legacy architecture and programs which make up the supply chain processes

Provide help to junior developers when required

Minimal to no travel necessary, but could be an opportunity for the right candidate

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years SAPABAP on ECC experience
5+ years SAP ABAP integrations with external platforms – Web services such as Hybris; ABAP proxy via PI consumption; RFC development; Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) customization (extensions, include modifications, custom programs, etc)
3+ years architectural ABAP, leading or designing ABAP projects
3+ years developing or leading Neptune and/or Fiori applications
