Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the status of recruitments to ensure business processes are completed timely. Follow up with individuals to resolve business processes that have not been processed timely. Track veteran preference documents and status through recruitment stages.
  • Review requisitions submitted from hiring managers for completeness. Coordinate the proper closure of all requisitions with hiring managers to ensure all required documents are collected, organized, scanned and uploaded to close each recruitment.
  • Schedule interviews, prepare and organize the interview documents for the interview panel.
  • Respond to recruitment questions from candidates, managers and staff, in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and complete Workday Business Processes such as I-9’s, trial service, new hires and transfers.
  • As assigned, responsible for processing/reviewing criminal records checks and reference checks for employees as applicable and refers completed checks to HR Business Partner or Recruitment Partner for review.

Job Requirements:

SHL Assessment – In addition to your related work experience and education, candidates who meet minimum qualifications will be required to complete an online assessment to determine whom to interview. Please make sure the minimum qualifications you have are clearly demonstrated in your application materials. Your application materials may be evaluated on spelling, grammar, punctuation, and presentation.
Human Resource Assistant ($3130-$4591): Two (2) years of human resources clerical-support experience directly assisting human resources professionals in the administrative functions of a human resources program; OR Three (3) years progressively responsible administrative, clerical or record-keeping support experience; College-level course work may substitute for the general experience requirement based on 45-quarter units per year. The State Certified Human Resources Professional (SCHRP) certification, awarded by the Oregon Chief Human Resources Office, substitutes for six (6) months of human resource professional-level experience.
Underfill Option- Office Specialist 2 ($2767-$3960): Two (2) years of general clerical experience, one year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR An Associate’s degree; OR Graduation from a private school of business with a certificate AND one year of general clerical experience.
