Parks and Recreation Job Openings – PARK MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

Job Description:

The reporting location for this position is New Brighton State Beach, Park Avenue off Highway 1 in Capitol, CA.  This position will work under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Supervisor.

The Park Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintaining park grounds, equipment and facilities.  The incumbent will work as a lead person for seasonal staff, volunteers and inmate crews as required.  This position may be required to work throughout the Santa Cruz District depending on operational need.

This position requires a valid California Class “C” Driver’s license. Please provide proof with application.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

The incumbent’s work schedule will be Tuesday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
