UBS Internship – Regional Head – Product Control

Job Responsibilities:

• manage service delivery on IB product control teams with large staff including a number of Directors
• has good understanding on IB products, PL controls, business drivers, To-T1 commentaries, Risk Sensitivity based PLs
• collaborate with a Global Integrated team partnering across regions, business areas and sector/segments
• manage F2B validation controls including reconciliation of trade capture system feeds to the general ledger, risk management system reconciliations
• drive change and automation to manage costs
• drive standardization across teams and processes
• compile and analyze financial information for UK IB Global Markets and Global Banking
• confirm compliance with specific regulations/regulatory bodies
• ensure risk and control environment is managed effectively

Job Requirements:

• demonstrated knowledge of IB product control
• know-how to develop a robust set of controls to the financials (cost and revenue) of a global business
• excellent communicator who can adapt style to audience
• analytical and methodical, with great attention to detail

Qualification & Experience:

• accountancy qualification (Preferred CA / CFA) / master’s degree or equivalent in accounting or related field
