Job Description: The Technical Specialist, DevOps Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline that meets Development, IT Security and Program Governance requirements. This role is also responsible for implementing the infrastructure and processes that enable monitoring and observability for the following: Infrastructure, Application and Network. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate effectively with leadership, technical leads and teams to develop an infrastructure and process that maximizes environment availability throughout the pipeline and ensures configuration consistency. Implement, integrate and maintain tools that enable continuous monitoring in the UPT ecosystem. Perform design and development duties on projects that lead to the transformation of the business to a DevOps culture. Implement, integrate and maintain tools that enable the CI/CD pipeline including configuration of software for Quality Gate enforcement. Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Job Requirements: Demonstrated technical proficiency across multiple development languages, tools, and methodologies, with deep experience in DevOps, Agile Software Delivery, and Scaled Agile Framework. 2+ years experience developing application dashboards utilizing the Elastic Stack 2+ years experience administering multiple monitoring systems such as: Elastic Stack, Solarwinds, Consul Ability to debug applications using Elastic tools and log files Experience with setting up/maintaining a CI/CD pipeline Experience with Windows IIS Servers a plus Knowledge of Tools Desired: Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), GitHub, GitLab, ServiceNow, Promethus, Grafana, SQL Possess strong technical and interpersonal leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a strong technical team Experience with evaluating new technologies and incorporating them into existing and new processes. Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands. Proven experience interacting with all levels of business and technical project stakeholders.
