UPS Application – Air Freight Operations Agent

Job Description:

This position involves communication with customers to provide updates on the status of air freight shipments, compiling information for reports, analyzing reports, researching routings, making service improvement recommendations, reviewing commercial invoices to obtain specific information required to request appointment deliveries, and shipment data entry.

Candidate will work a set shift time from 8am to 4.30pm approx.40 weeks per year. 12 weeks per year involve covering other shifts within the group. As such, start time may vary between 5am and 11am.

Job Requirements:

• College Degree in logistics and transportation preferred
• 3 to 5 years experience into the transportation industry
• CIFFA Certification an important asset
