Job Description:

Assist the Privacy Officer in conducting audits, assessments and monitoring various aspects of the privacy program, including record management, incident triaging, information requests and maintaining OneTrust module records.

Job Responsibilities:

• Address access to information requests, oversee personal information record retention practices
• Facilitate coordination (verbal and written) with applicable internal operational leadership to ensure that privacy issues, concerns or complaints from any internal/external source are appropriately mitigated
• Provide follow-up correspondence (verbal and written) to applicable internal leadership; and review completed mitigation documentation to ensure all applicable corrective actions (including both operational/privacy action items) associated with the privacy matter are addressed/documented
• Research, analyze, maintain understanding of the applicable privacy laws and regulations and work with Privacy Officer, business stakeholders and Operations to ensure that necessary updates to applicable policies and procedures are made when new laws/regulations are implemented
• Consult with and/or provide privacy related feedback to business departments departments/staff to help enforce privacy policies/procedure compliance within the organization. Consult with Legal and/or other applicable Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) when necessary to help address a privacy matter
• Manage and retain required documentation effectively both in electronic and database files with strict confidentiality
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
• Support Privacy Office in privacy-related audits/assessments of internal departments and processes; and track/analyze privacy KPIs and privacy-related action items
• Assist with maintaining robust privacy compliance practices for third party risk management; assist in identifying and implementing appropriate controls to mitigate any compliance gaps as well as documenting and assessing the findings and monitoring implementation of the proposed mitigating controls from a data privacy risk perspective according to TPRM reporting requirements; provide privacy expertise to other TPRM staff, including risk analysts

Job Requirements:

• 2- 3 years of experience / knowledge in privacy compliance and/or business/organizational ethics preferred
• Excellent computer and communication skills required
• Bachelor’s and/or paralegal degree preferred
• CIPP/C certification preferred
