Job Responsibilities: May provide database and other architecture support Ensure implementations are in compliance with software quality assurance and cyber security requirements and adhere to company policies Duties include working closely with project shareholders to scope, estimate, and provide overall technical leadership to develop and implement software solutions Researches, designs, develops and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software using languages and tools such as C#, C++, Visual Basic, ABAP, PeopleTools, JAVA, XTML, Objective C, HTML 5, Visual Studio.NET, and Eclipse Effectively scope project subtasks into scheduled work units Ensure solutions are well-engineered, operable, and maintainable while also ensuring adherence to defined project management policies, change management guidelines, and quality assurance processes Provides maintenance and upgrades to existing systems May have customer and vendor management interfacing responsibility Demonstrates innovation when designing applications architectures and solving complex IT problems Provide expertise and leadership for software solutions including architecture, design, requirements analysis, development, quality assurance and implementation Job Requirements: Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to interact with senior leadership and customers to present technical and operational information and proposed solutions Oracle or other relational database management systems with experience in SQL and PL/SQL Web server technologies such as Microsoft IIS, NetWeaver, WebLogic, and Apache Tomcat Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline Eight or more years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive relevant experience will be reviewed and considered for equivalency to these requirements Requires the ability to document business requirements and design technical solutions Effective communication skills and demonstrated success in a team environment Integrated Development Environments such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, and IntelliJ IDEA Version control tool such as GIT, SVN, TFS, or other code repositories Job Details: Company: Y-12 National Security Complex Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Oak Ridge, TN, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Jobsvilla.net
