Job Description:
This role is responsible for shaping and driving the delivery of YBS’s purpose ambitions and ESG strategy and overseeing our community investment programmes, supported by an exceptional team of 10.
The role is due to start in July, leaving enough time for a strong handover period to ensure a smooth transition. Location is flexible in this role as we operate a hybrid work environment, with most of the work conducted remotely.
Job Responsibilities:
This role is part of the People Division Leadership team and reports into the Chief People Officer. Key areas of focus include:
- Leading the shaping and delivery of strategic community investment programmes, in line with our purpose ambitions of helping people into a home and helping them improve their financial wellbeing
- Overseeing the production of the annual ESG report, in line with the GRI framework.
- Embedding YBS’s purpose ambitions and ESG strategy across the business and working cross-functionally to drive, monitor and report on progress
Job Requirements:
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, including with senior management / Board
- Experience leading the development and implementation of an ESG strategy / purpose-driven strategy
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver sustained high performance
