Job Description:

As our next Information Security Operations Centre Analyst (internally known as Information Security Monitoring Analyst) you’ll work with the Information Security Monitoring Lead to maintain, monitor and respond to notifications from monitoring systems to monitor and improve the IT security of the organisation. You’ll join a likeminded team that work predominantly remotely with occasional travel to Bradford or Leeds based, this role is a part of our Information Security Risk Management function.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of the Group’s Risk Appetite framework in relation to information security risks which help to set the parameters for decision making and governance reporting
• Attendee of Information Security Risk Forum as required
• Support Information Security Leads in the delivery of services.
• Support the Security Operations Centre Lead, Threat Intelligence Lead and Senior Manager Information Security Risk Management in interactions with stakeholders e.g. Directors, teams, Board, Chief Officers, GRC and Regulators.
• Maintain high levels of professional conduct, including but not limited to: cooperative engagement in tasks set; the exercising of initiative to suggest, through line managers, improvements to the service provided; and clear and professional styles of communication.
• Support the improvement of risk management capability across the Division.
• Support the implementation of the Risk Framework for the Division ensuring that level 3 category risks are being managed in adherence to the Group’s Risk Management Framework.
• Support the Divisional reporting of risk MI and responses to regulatory and third party requests and attestations
• Collegiate relationship with Risk SMEs and colleagues across the Division.

Job Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of malware, forensics, IDS, WAF and VM
• Experience of providing robust responses to security incidents, including the identification, analysis and remediation of events.
• Evidence of professional learning and development to build and maintain skills and expertise
• Experience in log analytics
• In-depth networking and TCP/IP experience
• Subject matter expertise in information security risk, cyber and IT security operations.
