Job Description:
As our next User Experience Designer, you will be working with 2 teams focused on savings products, embedded in a squad in a fully agile way. You will ensure developments to our websites and systems are to the highest design standards and demonstrate excellence in customer experience. You’ll join a likeminded team in our Leeds based Digital Services function.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work close with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand business problems and identify the best way to solve them, ensuring that the customer needs are at the heart of every decision. And with developers to ensure that the features come to live as intended on design and respecting all the native interaction paradigm
- Produce designs that bring to life the features identified by the business and from upfront research by understanding the user journeys and the touch points with web journeys making sure the best customer experience across platforms
- Carry out usability testing and other forms of research to validate the designs and get insights to feed the iterative design loop
Job Requirements:
- Strong experience in designing digital products specifically working in an agile team setups, working in close collaboration with Product owners and developers
- Deep knowledge of current design tools (Sketch and Invision)
- Ability to synthesise complex requirements into clear and simple user interfaces
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience designing, testing and refining designs based on research, customer insights and business feedback
