Job Description:
As our next Arrears Analyst, you’ll produce accurate and timely Arrears MI for our Arrears Strategy and Analysis function. You’ll seek to develop arrears performance, through the delivery of analysis, insight and the development, testing and implementation of new strategies. You will join a likeminded team in our Bradford based Business Intelligence function (currently working from home).
Job Responsibilities:
- Guide stakeholders on what insights could help their teams
- Gather and analyse new business requirements for data, reporting and management information
- Produce daily BAU management information packs and other ad-hoc queries to strict deadlines, ensuring all MI delivered is accurate, timely and fit for the purpose.
- Design, develop and automate the production of business MI to support the day to day running of the relevant business function areas
- Design and develop new reporting in line with set standards, principles, patterns and governance
- Commit to a culture of continuous improvement for BI delivery with a focus on leveraging technical toolsets to consolidate and automate reporting
- Comply fully with all regulatory requirements YBSG policies for data governance and information security
Job Requirements:
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management abilities including senior stakeholders
- Excellent time management and work prioritisation skills
- Experience of using SAP Business Objects Suite for MI and/or SQL is desirable
- Working knowledge of SAS is desirable
- Experience of using Tableau or other competitive visualisation tool
- Experience of data preparation and manipulation
- Experience of data mapping and modelling is desirable
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Experience of eliciting and capturing business, data and MI requirements and delivering reliable MI
