Advanced Air Jobs – Company Instructor

Job Description:

The Company Instructor will be based in Hawthorne, CA. The incumbent of this role, under the general guidance and direction of the Director of Training, will be responsible for training Advanced Air, LLC crewmembers on the Operations Manual, Company Manual, International Operations Manual, OpSpecs, Federal Aviation Regulations, AIM, company policy and procedures, aircraft systems, flight line procedures and additional instructional duties as required

Job Responsibilities:

• Suggest and makes continuous improvements to training provided to crewmembers
• Assists other departments with their training needs
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Assist in the development and implementation of Advanced Air’s online training curriculum
• Maintain both paper and electronic records of pilot training as required by regulations

Job Requirements:

• Ground instructor certificate with an advanced rating issued under 14 CFR Part 61
• Commercial pilot certificate with appropriate category rating issued under 14 CFR Part61
• Flight Attendant Certificate of Demonstrated Proficiency
• Highly knowledgeable of the Operations Manual, Company Manual, International Operations Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, AIM, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and other instructions pertinent to the students being instructed
• Ability to pass FAA drug/alcohol screening and background check
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, etc. as needed
• Previous experience in a Flight Department, 2+ Years
• Valid California Driver’s License and minimum age of 18
